1) Always create another user account to access internet and after every use please save data to you desired drive and after that delete that account.
2) Always install your OS in two different drives if you can.
3) Always take backup of your "drive:\windows" folder so after every use of internet run backup wizard so any change by the internet can not harm your computer.
4) Always turn on your firewall and antivirus update when you accessing internet.
5) If necessary then install additional firewall software.
6) Regularly Format partitions and take backups of all of your data.
7) Try to use internet in Limited account or guest account. Don't use administrator's account.
